How to make a button in Photoshop

      With the program open, select "File" > "New" or press Ctrl+N.

      Set the working space to 130 pixels by 30 pixels.

      Select the "Zoom" tool from the tool bar. Once selected click the working area to zoom in on our work space.

      Select the shape tool. Click and hold to reveal additional shapes. Select the rounded box.

      Click and drag from the top left corner to the lower right leaving about a 2 pixel gap all the way around.

      Find the styles pallette and click the arrow icon to display that menus options. Select "Web Styles" from the list.

      When asked to "Replace current styles...", Select Ok.

      With the button shape highlighted in your layers pallette, find and select the "Clear Gel with Drop Shadow" style.

      Next, select the "Text" tool. Click on the work area to start typing. In the example we used "Save" as our text.

      Adjust the position of the text and save.
