Ok, apparently modern science is not quite up to speed to give us any clear cut answers for our morning hangovers. Here are a few things you can do to make sure your nights don't completely ruin your days.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

"Beer before liquor, you'll never be sicker;liquor before beer, and you're in the clear."

My experience has taught me that his old saying really does work.

  2. Step 2

Eat something before you go to sleep. This will provide you with nutrients and help alcohol absorption.

  3. Step 3

Don't mix your drinks! If you start off by drinking Whisky, don't change to vodka or you run the risk of getting sick and suffering a bad hangover the next morning.

  4. Step 4

If you can, drink one glass of water between each alcoholic drink to keep yourself hydrated. You'll pee a lot, but you will feel much better in the long run for doing it. At the very least drink a very large glass of water before going to sleep too.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try and wake up earlier than usual so you can take a shower and have a little something to eat and then go back to bed. This will vastly improve your chances of waking up feeling a lot better.
  • Heavy exercise is really bad for your body when you are hungover.
