This works like a chat room with voice activated but much better in technology and sound quality. Thanks to Skype, here is how

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Skype software, download at skype.com
  • Microphone
  • Headphone
  1. Step 1

After you sucessful installed Skype, open it and click on Conference button. A new window will open. This is where you set up your conference call. Start off by typing in a topic for the call.

  2. Step 2

Invite other people to the call by selecting them from your contacts list and clicking the 'Add' button. (You can use the Ctrl button on your keyboard to select up to 4 contacts at the same time.) When you add a contact, they’ll appear in the ‘Conference participants’ list. You can invite up to 4 people to conference call with you.

  3. Step 3

Now click the ‘Start’ button to call your selected contacts. It will take a few moments for everyone to join.

  4. Step 4

During the call you can use the same options as in any other Skype-to-Skype call. (E.g. You can click on a contact to view their profile, see your chat history, or send a file.)

  5. Step 5

You can end the conference at any time by clicking the big red button. Don’t worry, you won’t do this by accident. A confirmation window will open first
