- Tomato sauce
- Tomato paste
- Honey
- Lemon
- Mustard (dijon or other)
- Hot sauce (Franks Red Hot works great)
- Crushed Garlic
- Crushed Onions
- Brown sugar
- Maple syrup
- Whiteshire sauce (wrong spelling)
- Worcestershire sauce (Lea & Perrins)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Basil (dried in shaker)
- Chili powder
- Horseradish sauce
- Butter
- Liquid smoke
- Beer or wine
- Big Pot
- Wooden spoon

Simmer the base on medium high until the sauce starts to brown a little and, and is bubbling. (about 15-20 with constant stirring).

Just add a dash of this, stir then taste. Then add a dash of that, stir then taste. Keep up this process while adding the ingredients little by little.

Make plenty to last for a few Barbeque's.
Once you come up with that perfect sauce, it will be sad to see it go. You'll find yourself going for your world famous sauce more then any other condiment in the refrigerator.
Take your time.
Do not add too much of any one ingredient. However, if you do, add some of everything else to over power it.

I make my own bbq sauce (enough for one or two people, per meal) and I don't go through nearly what you've described. Though, I have to say after reading the ingredients you use...I bet your sauce is tasty! -
