How to paint baseboards with no streaks

If you want to have streak free baseboards and do not use a spray gun then this is how it is done. This assumes that the baseboards are not attached to the wall yet.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Flat surface to put the baseboards on
• Paint
• Rollers - for smooth surface, wider than the baseboard

1. Place baseboard on top of a flat surface. Make sure you protect the area around for paint stains

2. If your baseboards are smooth all over then use a smooth roller. If your baseboards have grooves then use a roller for rough surfaces

3. User roller to paint the baseboard. Paint atleast twice and always finish up with on roll over the whole baseboard to avoid droplets to form.

4. Make sure baseboards dries before nailing the baseboards to the wall.

Tips & Warnings

• Place 4-5 baseboards next to each other for easy access and to save time
• Use indoor latex paint for fast drying
• Behr paint is thick and dries fast
• Clean your equipment after you are done
• Make sure to protect the area around your paint setup as paints are sometimes very difficult to remove
