How to Make Sweedish Meatballs

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 medium raw potato - grated
  • 1 medium - grated
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1-1/3 cup milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • celery salt
  • flour
  • vegatable oil
  • Pam cooking spray
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • skillet
  • sauce pan
  • Casserole Dish
  • Wide egg noodles
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray the casserole dish with Pam.

  2. Step 2

    Mix potato, onion, bround beef, cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup milk, salt, pepper, celery salt well and form into balls. Roll balls in flour and brown in vegatable oil in skillet.

  3. Step 3

    Heat soup with 1 cup milk in saucepan. Pour enough of the mixture into casserole dish to coat bottom. Arrange the meatballs and pour 1/2 of the remaining mixture over the meatballs.

  4. Step 4

    Simmer remaining sauce misture until ready to serve.

  5. Step 5

    Cover casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Pour remaining sauce mixture over meatballs and cook for another 5 minutes.

  6. Step 6

    Remove and serve over noodles.

Tips & Warnings
  • Place a cookie sheet under the casserole dish in the oven to prevent spillage.
