How to Make Wild Rice Chicken Casserole

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 6 oz long grain + wild rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon margerine
  • 1 envelope French's Hollandaise Sauce Mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken or turkey
  • 10 oz frozen broccoli, thawed and drained
  • small saucepan
  • stove
  • oven
  • 2 qt. casserole dish
  • spoon
  • Pam cooking spray.

Step1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease casserole dish with Pam.
Step2
Prepare rice following package directions.
Step3
Cookm onions and mushrooms in margerine in small saucepan. Add sauce mix and water. Cook, stirring, until thickened.
Step4
Combine rice, chicken, and broccoli in greased 2 qt. casserole dish. Spoon on sauce.
Step5
Bake covered at 350 detrees for 35 minutes or until hot.

Tips & Warnings

  • You may want to place a cookie sheet under casserole dish in oven as misture may run over.
