How to Make Chicken in Cream

This is a fairly easy way to make an old classic

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 package frozen peas
  • 1 jar sliced mushrooms trained
  • 2 lbs chicken breasts and thighs
  • flour
  • vegitable oil
  • 2 - 3 cups whipping cream
  • casserole dish
  • tin foil
  • oven
  • skillet
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder

Step1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step2
Arrange frozen peas on the bottom of the casserole dish with the mushrooms on top of the peas.
Step3
Dust the hicken pieces with flour and brown in vegitable oil in skillet. Once brown, drain chicken and arrange on top of mushrooms.
Step4
Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
Step5
Pour whipping cream over all and cover or wrap tightly in foil.
Step6
Bake at 350 detrees for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

Tips & Warnings

  • Put a cookie sheet under it in the oven, since it may bubble over.
