How to Make Chicken in Cream

This is a fairly easy way to make an old classic Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 package frozen peas
  • 1 jar sliced mushrooms trained
  • 2 lbs chicken breasts and thighs
  • flour
  • vegitable oil
  • 2 - 3 cups whipping cream
  • casserole dish
  • tin foil
  • oven
  • skillet
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder

Instructions

    • 1

      Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

      Arrange frozen peas on the bottom of the casserole dish with the mushrooms on top of the peas.

      Dust the chicken pieces with flour and brown in vegitable oil in skillet. Once brown, drain chicken and arrange on top of mushrooms.

      Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.

    • 5

      Pour whipping cream over all and cover or wrap tightly in foil.

      Bake at 350 detrees for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

Tips & Warnings

  • Put a cookie sheet under it in the oven, since it may bubble over.
