1 Can of baked beans (UK/Kiwi style) Watties or Heinz
2 Slices of bread
Butter
Step1
If you are in the US, you might ask where can I get Baked Beans. There are a number of places I have found in the Seattle area, Cost Plus (various locations), English Pantry (Redmond), you can also ask the guys at the Kangaroo and Kiwi Pub in North Seattle.
Step2
Empty the can of beans into a sauce pan, and cook until boiling. Some people, myself included, like the beans to be over cooked, so they begin to almost come apart.
Step3
Toast two slices of break in the toaster.
Step4
Place toast on a dinner plate and spread butter on the toast.
Step5
Pour the beans over the toast.
Step6
Eat while still hot, and imagine you are back in ol' Blighty!
Tips & Warnings
Over cook the beans for extra flavor
Add a sprincle of grated sharp chedar cheese - you can even place the whole thing under a broiler for something a little different.

Yes, I also love to butter the toast, and pour the beans over the butter so that it melts together. The grated tasty (extra sharp) cheese just finishes this great snack.

I love beans on toast. I like to toast the bread early and leave it to go cold before buttering it. That way, the butter (or marg) doesn't soak into the toast, but mingles with the hot baked beans. Yummy!

This stuff is great, and it's typically easy to find the beans most anywhere. Any tomato-based, vegetarian bean would work, as many times the pork & beans found in the cans in most stores are molasses based.
