An good yet easy reciept for Clam Chowder

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 quarts chicken broth
  • 2 cups finely chopped clams
  • 2 cups small diced potatoes
  • 1/2 cups small dices carrots
  • 4 cups half & half
  • salt & pepper
  1. Step 1

    Combine first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook until vegetables are tender and mixture has thickened.

  2. Step 2

    Stir in half & half. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Step 3

    Makes 6 to 8 servings

Tips & Warnings
  • Tired of washing dishes? Use 6-8 inch rounds of sourdough or french bread. Cut 1-1 1/2 inches off the top, remove the soft bread and fill with soup. No dishes!
