Things You'll Need:
- 1 c. softened margarine - 2 cubs at room temp or warmer
- 1 c. chunky peanut butter
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda - dissolved in 2 tablespoons water
- 2 3/4 c. lose flour (do not pack or 'shake down')
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- mixing bowl
- cookie sheet(s)
- fork
- paper towels

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375.

Step 2
Mix margarine, peanut butter, white sugar, brown sugar, & baking soda mixture in a bowl

Stir in flour.

Add in chocolate chips.

Using your hands, roll cookie dough into small balls - tablespoon size

Place ball on greased cookie sheet

Step 7
Mark each ball with a fork by pressing down with the tongs of the fork 2 times - 1 in one direction then again at a 90 degree opposite - making a cris-cross pattern.

Step 8
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.

Remove from cookie sheet & cool on paper towels.
