Things You'll Need:
- Some patience. Bay Cities can get very busy during lunch hour.
- A ticket. Grab a ticket at the counter when you arrive.
-
Step 1
Get a ticket at the counter.
-
Step 2
Go to the other side of the store and grab a warn loaf of bread. This is a great snack while you wait and your friends and family will love you when you bring it home for them.
-
Step 3
Watch the "Now Serving" display and ease your way up close to the counter when you number is about to be called. Stay alert so you don't look like a rookie.
-
Step 4
Once your number is called step up with confidence and say "I will have the Fitzgibbon". If your sandwich maker gives you a black stare, they are clearly a new employee.
-
Step 5
To ensure you keep their attention go straight to the detailed order: I would like a larger sandwich with Prosciutto de Parma, water mozzarella, lots of lettuce, olio, and black pepper.
-
Step 6
Sit back and watch your masterpiece get made.

on 4/18/2007 They have great stuff at Bay Cities and the sandwiches rock!
My spin on the Fitzgibbon is the Caprese (no balsamic some people who work there automatically put it on there) with Prosciutto di Parma. Same idea but has tomatoes and basil.
Yum!

on 1/12/2007 Hey, Larry! Thanks for your comment on my makeover article. Your sandwich sounds lovely, though not as good as the "Larry David."
