BBQ'd squash is a great summer treat when you're already outside cooking steaks on the grill. It is also a great alternative to a side salad with your steak. This recipe will leave you with flavor full and moist squash.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Yellow squash
  • Peter pan squash
  • Zucchini
  • Tomatoes
  • Bell pepper
  • Onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Butter
  • Tin foil
  1. Step 1

Your party size will determine how much squash and other ingredients you will need.

  2. Step 2

Take out a really long piece of tin foil as you will be using this to wrap your squash in.

  3. Step 3

Cut up your squash, tomotoes, bell peppers, and onions and place them on your foil.

  4. Step 4

Next add cubes of butter, salt and pepper, and parmesan cheese. You'll want to add more of these ingredients than you think that you will need. In the end if you find out that your squash isn't as flavorful you can add these ingredients in the end.

  5. Step 5

Once you've got all your goodies on your foil, seal it up and put it on the grill for about 10-20 mins. Time differs for different size batches. As your squash medley is cooking all the juices are melting together

  6. Step 6

Once your time is up, open the tin foil and make sure that your squash is soft in the middle. After that take your foil off the grill and enjoy with friends.

Tips & Warnings
  • You may find out that you like to put different types of squash in your mix. Experiment around and see what you like.
  • Careful, the tin foil is hot.
  • Use caution when opening the bag as steam will rise up.
