Step2
If you're comfortable on the Internet, go to the company’s Web site (see Resources) to find detailed information about Dish Network’s local channel programming.

On the home page, move the mouse cursor to the Programming option of the menu located on the top of the screen.
Step4
Select the Local Channels option from the resulting sub-menu.
Step5
Use the Local Channels Lookup facility to determine the channels available in your region. To do so, type your address and zip code. A list of local networks available will be displayed.
Step6
Dish Network offers local channels in most areas in the United States, although high-definition (HD) local programs are only available in limited markets. If you can't access local channels, Dish Network provides access to the local channels of the nearest available network through a service called Distant Broadband Networks.
Step7
Already existing customers can upgrade their package to include local channels either by calling customer service or by using the “Upgrade Now” feature on the website.
