Make your leftover rice just as fluffy as the day you made it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Leftover white rice
  • saucepan
  • colander
  1. Step 1

Fill a saucepan halfway with water and bring it to a boil.

  2. Step 2

Place your leftover rice in a colander (one that has a lip) and place it over the saucepan. The lip of the colander should be resting on the edge of the saucepan so that the rice isn't touching the water.

  3. Step 3

Cover the colander and let your rice heat.

on 7/3/2008 I never thought of that! I usually put it in the microwave and add butter. It never tastes very good that way, and can't be good for you.
