How to Find More Advanced Cheats for Half Life 2

There are tons of cheats for Half Life 2, all of which involve the developer console (~ key must be enabled first). Curious as to how you can crank up weapon damage, turn off the gravity or make yourself invisible?

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Step 1

Use a search engine to find a list of Half Life 2 cheats (there are at least 100 of them).
Step 2

Make a list of ones that sound interesting or useful (some have little, if any, discernable effect on the game).
Step 3

Try them out. Go to "Options," "Keyboard," "Advanced," then click the box that says “Enable Developer Console.”
Step 4

Type in the cheat, then press enter.
Step 5

Have fun with your newfound power!
