Things You'll Need:
- A bar
- Pool printed out on paper, pens
- Caution tape
- Food and beverage
- Noise makers
- e-Vite
-
Step 1
Invite your crew to the bar via an e-Vite. Give them the time, date and location. Be sure to encourage wearing team colors and being prepared with new team cheers. If the budget does not allow you to host the entire night that’s cool; just make that clear in the invite that “appetizers and beer during the first four innings is on me!”
-
Step 2
Designate a section for your friends if the bar will allow. Use caution tape to mark off a few tables or booths.
-
Step 3
Scatter noise makers like clappers, kazoos, whistles and air horns around your area. Don’t piss off the other fans too much with the cheering but when your team is on a roll these things can’t be helped.
-
Step 4
Include a pool with obscure stats to bet on. Have everyone pitch in $5 for the grand prize. Here are a few ideas for the stats:
•Which team will drop a ball in the outfield first?
•Will there be any fan interference?
•Who will hit the first homer?
•Which pitcher will get pulled out first?
•How many home runs will be hit during the game by both teams combined? -
Step 5
Call for a bar high-five during the 7th inning stretch. Get everyone together in a line (like a conga-line) then make your way through the bar giving everyone a high-five for celebrating baseball. If you want you can even come up with a toast to make to the entire bar. Something along the lines of, “Here’s to drinking a 5th in the 4th”

on 10/19/2006 It's an excellent idea to bring your Tiger love to the World Series when you watch the game with your pals...at least this year.
