A simple way to make a pie crust if you don't have a food processor/Cuisinart, or if you just don't feel like getting your food processor dirty. Great entertainment for the kids!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • graham crackers, ziplock bag, butter, sugar, car, pie crust
  1. Step 1

Add 6 graham crackers to a gallon size ziplock bag, and zip the bag shut. You may want to double bag the ziplock as to avoid puncture wounds to the bag

  2. Step 2

Make sure all of the air is out of the ziplock before you seal it, otherwise you will have a small explosion on your hands.

  3. Step 3

Place the bag of graham crackers under your rear tire, get in the car, put on your seatbelt and put the car in reverse, rolling over the bag of graham crackers. Roll the car back and forth over the bag several times (3-4 times). Park the car and remove the bag (make sure the car is in park and turned off).

  4. Step 4

Add the graham crackers to a bowl and mix with 1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup melted butter, mold into a pie pan and top with your favorite pie filling

Tips & Warnings
  • This is great entertainment for the whole family and certainly more fun than the regular food processor. You can also use this technique for making bread crumbs.
  • Be sure to keep the kids away from the tires.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
