A very easy and healthy meal - also great for camping.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • flour tortillas or soft taco shells, fish (white fish such as mahi mahi or halibut), taco seasoning, red onion, cabbage, tomatoes, lime, cilantro, sour cream.
  1. Step 1

Marinate fish in seasoning (mix of cumin, chili powder, garlic salt- to desired taste). Set aside

  2. Step 2

Chop red onion, cabbage (green and red), tomatoes, lime wedges, cilantro

  3. Step 3

Add enough oil to a cast iron skillet or pan to lightly coat it and heat to medium high. Add chopped fish and cook until golden.

  4. Step 4

Once fish has cooked through (i.e. no pink) remove from heat and place on the tortilla or taco shell. Top with the chopped red onion, cabbage (green and red), tomatoes, cilantro, and top with a dollop of sour cream. Squeeze juice from lime wedge over taco.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you don't have time to make your own seasoning you can use the packaged taco seasoning instead.
  • Use caution when handling the skillet! Do not over cook the fish.
