Cotton sweaters are so comfy and cozy. The cotton material helps your sweaters last a long time and becomes even more comfortable over the years. Keeping your sweaters stain free will help them last longer as well.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Washer and dryer
  • Gentle detergent (Woolite)
  • Dryer sheet
  • Stain remover
  1. Step 1

Prepare your sweater for washing by spraying any stains with a stain remover. After spraying, turn the sweater inside out before placing it in your washer. This helps prevent the sweater from wearing out. For more stubborn stains the sweater can be washed right side out to help remove the stain.

  2. Step 2

Wash with a gentle detergent such as Woolite to keep the sweater's color in good shape. Wash the sweater on a warm gentle cycle. After washing, place the sweater in the dryer with a dryer sheet. The dryer sheet will help the sweater smell fresh and feel soft.

  3. Step 3

Fold your sweater after drying and it will be ready for wear whenever you need it.

Tips & Warnings
  • When using dryer sheets, you can cut the sheet in half if you buy a stronger scented sheet. This is a great time and money saver.
