How to make your kids a fast healthy breakfast

The mornings are a crazy time for parents with kids that need to go to school by 7:30am and want to wait till the last minute to wake up. Donuts, sugar cereal, and other "easy to prepare foods" are not healthy, so what do you do?

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Egg Beaters, Pam Non-Stick Spray, Lean turkey meat, and mozzarella cheese

Step1
While your kids are getting ready, sneak downstairs and fire up the burners. Don't let them know that you are cooking a healthy, protein filled nearly fat free breakfast
Step2
Spray the pan with PAM and drop in a few slices of Turkey. Feel free to tear them with your hands or cut them, whatever is quicker and easier
Step3
Cook the turkey until it is lightly browned
Step4
Then, pour (yes pour) in the egg beaters and let it form into what looks and tastes like scrambled eggs
Step5
Stir and Serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add low fat turkey bacon
  • Add a little green tabasco (becareful)
  • Add green or red peppers if you have time
  • Don't let them know its not real eggs!

on 10/1/2006 Eating healthy can tast great. I do the same thing, Pam instead of butter, Egg Beaters or Egg Whites instead of eggs. Egg Beaters are the easiest to use since they come in easy to pour containers.
