Calcium is usually caused by hard water. These few easy steps will make your shower head look brand new.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Zip lock freeze bag, either small or large depending on size of shower head.
  • Pyrex measuring cup
  • Quality rubber band
  • Vinger

Step1
Take Pyrex measuring cup and fill with vinger
Step2
Heat the vinger in the microwave until warm, but not boiling, time will vary based on strength of microwave
Step3
Place the vinger in the ziplock bag
Step4
Put the zip lock bag around the shower head and secure with durable rubber band.
Step5
Leave for one hour, and watch the calcium begin to be eaten away.
Step6
If calcium is still on shower head after one hour repeat the process.

Tips & Warnings

  • Peet's coffee rubber bands work great
  • Vinger will sting if exposed to an open wound, so wear rubber gloves, if your hands are senstive or have open cuts.
