Anyone can make home-made cards, all it takes is a few supplies and a little creativity. This will show you how to make a simple one.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Rubber Stamp in the design of your choice (bought at a craft store)
  • Cardstock in the color of your choice (Cardstock is like a premade card that just needs to be designed on)
  • Ink Pad (Craft store)
  • Damp paper towel, or stamp cleaner
  • Coloring medium of your choice
  1. Step 1

Lay the cardstock down in front of you, and visualize where you want to place your image.

  2. Step 2

Remove the lid from the ink pad.

  3. Step 3

Turn the stamp with rubber facing up and place the ink pad on top of it to ink the image.

  4. Step 4

Set the ink pad down and verify the image has been completely inked.

  5. Step 5

Place the stamp, rubber side down onto the cardstock where you want your image placed, and press down evenly on all sides.

  6. Step 6

Color the image (if desired) with the color medium of your choice.

  7. Step 7

Add some text (if desired), and you are finished.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also buy another rubber stamp that is text to go along with the image to add even more.
  • Once the stamp is on the cardstock do not move it at all or the image will smear!
  • Careful how hard you press down on the sides or you might ink the cardstock with the side of the rubber and not just the image.
