Step 1
Take a blender and put 4 or 5 ice cubes in it
-
Step 2
Pour 8 ounces of milk into the blender. Keep in mind that generally milk higher in fat has more protein.
-
Step 3
Add 1 teaspoon of peanut butter to the blender. I recommend natural peanut butter as it has no sugar or trans fat
-
Step 4
Add 1 scoop of protein to your mix. Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey Protein is a great tasting and economical choice. The chocolate flavor tastes great with the peanut butter
-
Step 5
Blend together for 10-15 seconds, then serve and enjoy

on 10/6/2008 Try casein protein instead of whey protein when you consume protein before bed. Whey is fast digesting while casein is a slow digesting protein which will allow your muscles to get the protein it needs while you sleep.
