Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Golf clubs are more or less divided into 3 groups: Low grade, Mid grade, and High grade.
Step2
Low grade clubs are what you find at department stores for around 99 bucks a set. These are a little too cheap and can be prone to breaking.
Step3
Mid grade clubs are off brand or "house" brand sets, or cheaper sets by some of the major brands you will find at golf stores for around 300 - 400 dollars. These are great for a first set of clubs. They have everything you need to get started, at a reasonable price, and are good quality. Examples in this range would be the Precise G6 460 set, or the Adams Tight Lies set.
Step4
High grade clubs are generally bought individual or in smaller sets, like a set of irons. Putting a while set together can cost anywhere from $1200 on up to a whole lot. These aren't so good for a first set because they are expensive, and it's hard to know what to buy. Also if you decide the game isn't for you, you're out a lot of money.
