Things You'll Need:
- Tortillas
- Refried Beans
- White rice
- Cheddar cheese
- Sour Cream
- Onion
- Tomato
- Avocado
- Salsa Brava
-
Step 1
Start the rice. Start the rice cooking first because it will take the longest. The best rice for burritos is sticky white rice from the International Foods section of your grocery store.
-
Step 2
Start the beans. After the rice has cooked for a little while start the beans. Refried Beans are best cooked on a stove in a pot that has plenty of room for stirring. Cooking the beans is a very delicate procedure, you want to keep the heat low and stir often to keep them from burning.
-
Step 3
Things to do while you are waiting on the rice and beans to cook: Chop your onions, cut up the avacado, cut up the tomato, grate the cheese.
-
Step 4
Once the rice and beans are done cooking, you are ready to start eating burritos!
-
Step 5
Place a tortilla on a paper towel and microwave for about 30 seconds. It should end up soft, warm, and a little moist.
-
Step 6
Make the burrito! Add ingredients in this order:
-Beans
-Onions
-Rice
-Sour Cream
-Salsa Brava
-Avacado
-Tomato
-Cheese -
Step 7
Eat it! MMMMmmmm that's sooooo gooood.
