Tip based on the service received: Basic hotel information (maps, guides, advice) = $0-$5 Restaurant Reservation (depends on the day - ease of making the reservation) $5-$10 Tickets to show or ballgame $20 - ++ Always tip. Concierges work to know everything about what you need during your stay, and if they do not know (for whatever reason) they will find out for you. They also have a very hard job standing for 8 hours at a time answering the same questions over-and-over. Tip your concierge, and he/she will provide you with a tip.
