Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Vitamin B-6
  1. Step 1

Decrease your sodium intake. Stick to fresh foods, and cut down on sodium-laden processed meals and fast food.

  2. Step 2

Take vitamin B-6 if you're bloated from water retention. It acts as a natural diuretic. However, do not take more than 100mg per day.

  3. Step 3

Exercise. Walk, run, do yoga - just move your body.

  4. Step 4

Learn acupressure techniques to reduce bloating.

  5. Step 5

Eat more slowly. Eating too fast causes you to swallow air, which can lead to bloating and gas.

on 11/22/2005 Eating yogurt with live and active cultures may help alleviate the bloated feeling. Yogurt provides calcium and Vitamin D, which helps to absorb calcium.

on 11/22/2005 Drink Dandelion root tea. It is a diuretic and can help reduce water weight, but also contains potassium. Potassium is beneficial because diuretics can dehydrate. PMS tea from Traditional Medicinals is great because it contains other all-natural herbs that can ease cramping.
