on 3/21/2009 http://www.thermacare.com/es_US/menstrual_wraps.aspxhttp://www.thermacare.com/products-menstrual.aspxThese heat wraps go inside undergarments and perform the function as a heating pad. I imagine that there are some safety precautions, since they involve HEAT, so please read the instructions!!They're probably safer than heating pads. I worry about a fire resulting should I forget to unplug the heating pad, but I worry about that. Also, I have read that orgasms can temporarily make cramps go away.

on 2/19/2009 The red raspberry and the magnesium really, really do help. I get terrible cramps, so bad that I often throw up, and those two things push the pain down to a dull ache. So much more tolerable! If you don't like tea, and pills are just easier, they have both in capsules at Whole Foods, and possible Central Market, but I havent checked there lately. And with stretching those muscles? I didn't want to move, much less stretch. So hope that helps!

on 2/2/2009 drinking soy milk, or eating soy products regularly helps!
i use to have the worst cramps (as in, couldn't even walk) but after increasing my soy intake they lessened dramatically.
this month i haven't had as much soy as i usually do, and the severe pain is back :(
so soy really does help!!
