    Call the Special Olympics at (202) 628-3630, or find a number for your local office on the Special Olympics Web site.

  2. Step 2

    Participate by training Special Olympics members.

  3. Step 3

    Volunteer at competitions.

  4. Step 4

    Build support for the Special Olympics through public awareness and at schools nationwide.

  5. Step 5

    Help fundraise for the Special Olympics.

  6. Step 6

    Do administrative work for the Special Olympics.

  7. Step 7

    Become a friend of Special Olympics athletes by supporting them at events or working at a group home or institution.
