How to Make Ortega Chicken Tacos

- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast meat, cut into small, bite-size pieces
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 package (1.25 ounces) Ortega® Taco Seasoning Mix
- 1 package (12) Ortega® Taco Shells
- Sargento® Nacho & Taco Blend Shredded Cheese, Ortega® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce

Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and stir occasionally for 4 to 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.

Stir in water and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes or until mixture is thickened.

Chop lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers.

Fill taco shells with chicken mixture and top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and taco sauce.
