Your PlayStation 2 is not only the most powerful video game system on the market, but also a fully functional DVD player. Heck, if it chilled food, you may never need to leave your room again!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • DVDs
  • Big-screen TV Sets

Step1
Turn on your PlayStation 2.
Step2
Open the disc tray and place the DVD movie in as you would a game.
Step3
Close the disc tray and wait for the DVD movie to begin playing.
Step4
Press the select button during the movie to open the options menu. Use the options menu as you would a conventional DVD player (play, pause, skip, ect.).
Step5
Turn your PlayStation 2 off when you are done viewing the DVD.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some DVDs will not work in the PlayStation 2 (see Related Sites for a list of these titles).

on 6/7/2007 Make sure your ps2 doesn't get overheated when watching dvd's, because this could result in it melting some pieces. Which results in it not working. So what i do, is put a little tiny fan behind my ps2, so that it stays cool............
