How to Create a Pokemon Costume - James

James is Jesse's flamboyant Team Rocket partner on the Pokemon television show. Color your hair purple, show a flair for the dramatic, and you're well on your way.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Belts
• Boots
• Sweatpants
• Fabric Paints
• Hair Gel
• Hair-coloring Products
• appliqués

1. Use the galleries of James pictures available on the Web as a reference.

2. Dye your hair purple.

3. Combine a loose-fitting, midriff, long-sleeved white shirt with matching white pants. Try using an inexpensive sweatshirt/pant combination and cutting and sewing a hem on the shirt.

4. Sew or glue a large red "R" appliqué on the shirt or sweatshirt.

5. Wear a black T-shirt beneath the white top.

6. Accessorize with long black gloves, black boots, and a black or brown belt.

Tips & Warnings

• Carry around an artificial long-stemmed red rose - it's one of James' favorite props.
• Be sure to memorize the Team Rocket song: "Prepare for trouble/Make it double/To protect the world from devastation/To unite all peoples within our nation/To denounce the evils of truth and love/To extend our reach to the stars above/Jessie/James/Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light/Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
