Things You'll Need:
- Face-blotting Papers

- Facial Tissues
- Hair Gel
- Hair Spray
- Lip Liners
- Lipstick

Place makeup tools and hair products in an empty makeup bag. Hairspray and gel are musts, as are clean makeup brushes, cotton swabs, a powder puff and a makeup sponge.
-
Step 2
Add a travel-size toothbrush and tube of toothpaste to your makeup bag so you can give your teeth a quick brush after dinner. Also include blush or bronzer, as well as deodorant, feminine protection, perfume, nail polish for touchups and any hairpins or extra combs you might need.
-
Step 3
Have safety pins and perhaps a travel-size sewing kit on hand for emergencies.
-
Step 4
Bring clear nail polish to mend your nylons if necessary, and think about bringing an extra pair.
-
Step 5
Put tissues or a handkerchief in your handbag, along with a small container of mints, your lipstick, lip liner, face-blotting papers and pressed powder compact. Include lucky charms, prayers or other must-have keepsakes.

on 8/20/2007 Great article. When I was married I wish I would have had a small kit for this kind of emergency stuff. One of my friends was just married and she actually bought a kit like this from www.criticalkits.com which saved her a bunch of time.

on 9/23/2006 I have a portable mini clothes steamer, it's great for anything that was stored for a bit before worn, and it doesn't hurt most of the shear materials the finer dresses are made of.

on 6/30/2006 I used to work at a bridal shop and we would use Clorox clean up wipes, like the kind you use in the kitchen, to take stains off of wedding dresses. They work great. Be sure to spot test first!
