Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Learn to jump big air and land smoothly every time.

  2. Step 2

    Start outside the wake.

  3. Step 3

Approach the wake with a lot of speed.

  4. Step 4

Hit the wake and pop into a big air.

  5. Step 5

Bend your knees 90 degrees to lift the back of the board up behind you.

  6. Step 6

Lean back for balance and to complete the "back-scratching" effect. This will counter the momentum of swinging your board up behind you.

  7. Step 7

    Hold it.

  8. Step 8

Straighten your legs out as you start to descend.

  9. Step 9

Bend your knees to absorb the impact of your landing.
