Now that you're starting to get some sick air, here's a great way to throw some style into your bag of tricks.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Learn to do big wake airs and land smoothly with great consistency.

  2. Step 2

Approach the wake with good speed and keep the rope taut and loaded.

  3. Step 3

Jump as you hit the top of the wake, just like you do on your big airs.

  4. Step 4

Straighten out your back leg while you're in the air. Bending your front leg will help define this maneuver.

  5. Step 5

Grab the nose of your board while you're still "boned out" in the air. Each way you grab is a different trick, so experiment with as many grabs as you can.

  6. Step 6

Return your legs to normal position before you land.

  7. Step 7

Bend your knees to absorb the shock of your landing.

Tips & Warnings
  • Straighten out your front leg and bend your back leg to reverse this trick for a "nose bone."
  • Style is style, so tweak and twist however much you think you can handle to give your form some flavor.
  • Always wear a life jacket and observe proper boating safety when you wakeboard.
