on 7/20/2006 When racing a chocobo, if you hold down the R1 and R2 buttons, your stamina will slowly increase. It increases at the same speed stamina decreases when holding down the square button. Because of this, if you manually control your chocobo, you can run top speed without losing any stamina, for the whole race. The first chocobo I did this with had a top speed of 97 km and it went through all of the races in A, B, and C classes without a problem. In A class, the other chocobos didn't take that long to finish after I did, so you'll want to be good at racing to win. Make sure you make the turns as short as possible, or you might not win. In S class, I won once in 5 tries with a top speed of 97 km, I recommend getting faster if you want to be unbeatable.

on 3/30/2006 Junction Knights of the Round materia to HP-absorb, and have a HP-plus materia for each member. Do not overstock on materia, for each materia you equip does 1111 damage to your character for the Airtam-Stomp. Give everyone a mime, and the person with the Knights of the Round materia W-Summon. Now you can make a never-ending chain of KOTR that heals your party, while also killing Emerald (so you don't have to heal, and end up breaking the chain).

on 11/22/2005 Equip one member of you party with all the healing materia, also with barrier, without all. With another member equip all and hast, and quake, *only using the meteria listed*. With the last member equip with quake and another all with healing materia. The levels on the quake doesn't matter, it will always do 9999 no matter what. Using 3x, cast spell with quake also helps, having 2 of the double/triple cast will speed this up even faster. Be careful not to add any more meteria, the underwater weapons final attack add 1000+ damage for each materia added to the player being damaged.

on 11/22/2005 (This trick may take many times to work.) Once your characters are at a high enough level, equip each one with their best armor and weapons. Equip no more than two materia to each character, and have them all with 9999 HPs. Fight Emerald weapon. Constantly heal, so they have maxed out health. When the weapon uses Air tam storm, it will do 2222 damage to each character. Each person will go into lucky sevens, and that should take care of the weapon. If not, heal everyone and do it again.
