Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Go to the official site of the Olympics at, you guessed it, olympics.com and surf this simple and comprehensive site.
Step2
Visit the United States Olympic Committee Web site (usoc.org) for the inside scoop on the Olympics, with a focus on the U.S. team. Learn about the venues in the upcoming Olympic games, how to get there, how to get tickets, and who to cheer for to bring home the gold.
Step3
Know that there are dozens of sports sites online with extensive Olympic coverage including results, profiles and feature stories. Visit the sites like ESPN.com, SI.com, CBS.Sportsline.com, and FoxSports.com.
Step4
Look for the more unique coverage sites like those by commercial manufactureres of athletic gear.
Step5
Choose your favorite sport and visit its national governing body's Web site. In track and field, for example, check out usatf.org. For gymnastics, visit usa-gymnastics.org. Each sport site, at the appropriate time of year, is going to paste the Olympics all over its home page.
Step6
Choose a search engine if you're having trouble locating a site. Try Google.com, for example, and type in "national track and field" or "U.S. gymnastics."

on 11/22/2005 The site partnership of Sports Illustrated and Cable News Network is one of the best Olympics sites I've found. It's intuitive, all-encompassing and fun. Check it out at http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/olympics.
