Portland is certainly not short on places to eat. Though it offers many fine-dining options, it also has places for those watching their wallet. Portland is a city full of great neighborhood diners that offer comfort food for all tastes and good atmospheres to bask in.

on 11/22/2005 The Golden Horse in China Town. They serve a cheap lunch here. You can get a main dish, soup, spring roll, and sliced pork all for $4.99. It's good food, too.

on 11/22/2005 This Mexican restaurant, La Sirenita, can be found at about 28th & NE Alberta St. It's very authentic food for great prices. Meal times are crowded so try to go during off times. However, the food is worth the wait! I recommend the Carne Asada burrito! Ole'!

on 2/14/2006 Super Dog located on the Park blocks (SW Park and SW Clay) has fantastic hot dogs - Brats, Cajun, Polish, Italian, Chicken....even Vegetarian, for only $3.75 each. Their Chili Cheese Dog is only $3.50, dirt cheap, and tons of chili and cheese on it. They serve Nathan's Famous for their regular hot dog, only $2.75, another big winner.
