Things You'll Need:
- Bottle Brushes
- Glitter
- Thermoses
- Juice Boxes
- Sandwich Bags
- Children's Stickers
- Lunchboxes
-
Step 1
Choose a durable box made from thick plastic or rust-resistant metal.
-
Step 2
Pick a soft cloth insulated bag if your child will be taking a lot of refrigerated or perishable items for lunch.
-
Step 3
Allow your child to pick out the lunchbox design. A pretty color or a box with his or her favorite fictional characters will make lunch-toting a highly enjoyable experience.
-
Step 4
Buy a lunchbox with a thermos if your child will be taking soups or loose liquids for lunch. If you foresee more juice boxes in your future, refrain from buying the thermos to insure maximum room in the box.
-
Step 5
Allow your child to decorate the box as he or she pleases with stickers and glitter.

on 9/8/2006 Choose something hardy and durable. I find that having high top boxes fits more food in. Low ones may fit in the bag, but do they fit the food? Let your child pick from a selection (ones you have already chosen as appropriate). Name them clearly. Do not choose cheap ones as they are usually not durable enough. A lunch box is important, so it okay too spend money on a durable, good looking, spacious lunch box that fits into a bag.
