What do married couples do with the guest book after the wedding? Most end up in storage, never to be opened again. Remember those who shared your special day with a framed collage of signatures.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Pick up a 20-by-24-inch frame that will complement your decor.

  2. Step 2

Choose a high-quality mat board in a light color. The mat should be acid-free and not glossy. Be sure the mat has a wide boarder with plenty of room for all your guests to write on - this will replace the traditional book.

  3. Step 3

Put a print or color copy of your wedding photo under the mat in the frame. (Use a copy of your picture instead of the real one in case someone slips with a pen.) Leave the glass off the frame.

  4. Step 4

Provide your guests with a couple of acid-free felt-tip pens.

  5. Step 5

Ask a few friends to sign the mat. This will let others know what the setup is for.

  6. Step 6

Replace the copy of your photo with the final version you want framed, once the event is over.

  7. Step 7

Assemble the mat, photo and glass to finish the framed guest book.

Tips & Warnings
  • Provide a scribble pad for people to practice on before they write on the mat.
  • Locate your framed photo guest book away from food and drinks.
