Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Make sure there are no knots or tangles in the yo-yo string.
Step2
Loop the yo-yo around your middle finger, between the second and third joint.
Step3
Hold the tightly wound yo-yo in your hand. Position the yo-yo so that the section of string that is coming from the yo-yo to your finger is in the front.
Step4
Curl your hand and arm as if making a muscle.
Step5
Hold your hand over your shoulder and throw firmly down and out slightly.
Step6
Aim for a spot a few feet in front of you.
Step7
Turn your hand over so that it is palm down.
Step8
Try not to let the yo-yo bounce as it reaches the end of the string. This will minimize the chance of the yo-yo catching and coming back up.
Step9
Let the yo-yo land gently and "sleep."
Step10
Return the yo-yo to your hand on the string before it stops spinning by jerking straight up.
