By encoding your CDs as MP3s, you can use your computer to make an endless variety of mixes, using individual songs from any album in your collection or from tunes you've downloaded from the Web. Unlike the process of making tapes from CDs or using a CD burner, making MP3 mixes, or "play lists," is as easy as drag-and-drop.

on 11/22/2005 There is a way to do this without changing the file's names.
click the "pl" button or press ALT+E on the keyboard.
click the "add" button and then "add dir"
then Drag&Drop the files into the order you want them in.
Save the playlist, then make sure that suffle has been switched off
