I learned by a keyword deck for beginners. It really helped with the basic meanings. I finally settled for a Rider Waite deck. That deck was the one I have seen most psychics use. But the Rider deck kind of spoke to me. I was told by a psychic that the deck should be sealed or at least new in case there are negative energies attached to it.
