Things You'll Need:
- Push Reel Mowers
- Replacement Blades
-
Step 1
Try out the grass catcher. It should be easy to remove, dump and replace.
-
Step 2
Give the cutting height adjuster a try. Some are very easy to use; others require changing the setting on each wheel.
-
Step 3
Remember that you'll have to mow more frequently because most push mowers can't handle grass taller than 3 inches.
-
Step 4
Make sure the handle is comfortable for you.
-
Step 5
Expect to pay between $30 and $150 for a push mower, depending on features.

on 5/8/2008 I bought a Sunlawn manual mower recently, and couldn't be happier. It cuts through grass up to 6" high, and there is absolutely no noise, no stink, no fumes--nothing but the gentle chuckchuckchuck of the mower and the delicious scent of fresh-cut grass. Save the environment! Gas-powered mowers are more detrimental to the environment than automobiles. Put your money where your environmental mouth is and buy a manual mower!
