How to Send a Father's Day Card

The third Sunday in June is Father's Day. Don't forget stepdads, grandfathers and uncles when choosing cards. There are even some that can be sent "from the dog"!

  • Address Books
  • Blank Cards
  • Postage Stamps
  • Address Labels
  • Pens

  1. Step 1

    Mail your cards out well before Father's Day to be sure they get there on time. Remember that it falls on a Sunday and there's no mail delivery that day.

  2. Step 2

    Look for funny or sentimental cards - or make your own.

  3. Step 3

    Sign your card with a personal thought in honor of your dad.

  4. Step 4

    Buy paper Father's Day cards at stores like Hallmark and American Greetings, which you can also find online.

Tips & Warnings
  • Put an appropriate sticker on the envelope. You can find these at most card shops.
  • Send your cards by June 10 to ensure timely delivery in the United States.
