Tips & Warnings
Plan to arrive early enough to recover from jetlag before your big wedding day.
If you book a castle for "exclusive use," it means that only you, your wedding party and guests will be using the castle on the designated day(s).
Make sure you are aware of local marriage laws including residency requirements and waiting periods.

When getting married in Scotland, you each need to apply for a marriage notice form from the registrar in the area you're getting married. This can take up to 15 days, but you should allow 4 to 6 weeks. If you've been married before, it takes a minimum of 6 weeks. -
