2. Visit the area if possible and scout out potential wedding venues. Remember to inquire about special rates for wedding packages.

3. Select your favorite winery and the specific location for your nuptials. Choices range from gazebos overlooking the vineyards to elegant indoor settings.

4. Book lodging at the winery for your wedding party and guests. Some wineries allow you to have exclusive use of the property if you book all the rooms.

5. Work with the winery's wedding coordinator who will assist with all of the details, including custom labels for the wine served at your reception.

6. Consider wedding favors that tie in with the winery theme. Give wine bottle toppers, wine glasses or even wine if you can afford it.
