- Irons
- Needles
- Potpourri
- Sewing Machine
- Threads
- Coffee Beans
- Scissors
- Scissors
- Elastic
- Rulers

Step 1
Cut a piece of thin fabric into a 12-inch-by-9-inch rectangle.

Step 2
Fold the long side of the fabric in half so that the printed sides are facing each other. This should make a 6-inch-by-9-inch "pocket."

Step 3
Sew one short side and the long side closed, leaving the last short side open.

Step 4
Fold the edges of the open side down and iron them so that they'll stay in place.

Step 5
Turn the bag right side out.

Step 6
Fill the bag with potpourri or coffee beans.

Step 7
Add a hanger by stitching a loop of elastic to a corner.

Step 8
Stitch the sachet closed by hand.

on 11/22/2005 Instead of hand stitching the sachet after you fill it, use sticky back velcro. That way you can refill it with different potpourri for a change and not have to rip out stitches or throw it away.

on 11/22/2005 I bought some remnants and made a couple dozen to use as stocking stuffers and small gifts to enclose in a card. I'll fill them right before giving them. They also make a nice item for the church bazaar. Almost anyone with a car can use one.
